The Austrian Cultural Forum presents a dramatic reading based on Carl Djerassis new book Four Jews on Parnassus:

A Conversation. Four intellectual giants – Walter Benjamin, Theodor Adorno, Gershom Scholem and Arnold Schönberg – debate on Jewish identity, the making of history and the desire for immortality.

Carl Djerassi (born 1923 in Vienna), is a novelist, playwright and emeritus professor of chemistry at Stanford University. He is one of the few American scientists to have been awarded both the National Medal of Science (for the first synthesis of an oral contraceptive) and the National Medal of Technology. He has published two autobiographies, a memoir, a collection of short stories, five novels and six plays for the theatre and two for the classroom.
