Austrian author Clemens J. Setz will be at this year’s Guardian Hay Festival on Friday 4 June to present his novel Frequencies (Die Frequenzen) in which he presents life as a chain reaction through the interactions and encounters of his characters. Born in 1982 in Graz, Setz has been studying mathematics, German language and literature in Graz since 2001. He is an overtone singer, translator and founding member of the literary group Plattform.
