Robert Musil published his first novel‚ The Confusions of Young Master Törless about a young man’s experiences at boarding school, when he was just 26 years old. It was adapted for the screen by Volker Schlöndorff in 1966, starring Mathieu Carrière. Now Alma Books have published a new translation of the novel by Christopher Moncrieff, who will join us to discuss the novel prior to the screening of this classic film.
