Austrian Singer-Songwriter Clara Luzia, who recently performed in London as part of the ACF London's Sound Park Austria concert series, will join Electric Friends at this special concert.

Luzia started releasing albums in 2006 and has produced four records so far. Her genre of music would best be described as Alternative Indie Pop. She won the Amadeus Awards in 2008 for ‘Best Alternative Act’, the Austrian equivalent of hte UK’s Mercury Music Prize and appeared at many European festivals, including "Les femmes s’ent melent“ in France, Eurosonic Festival in Groningen Netherlands, GLIMPs in Ghent Belgium and Waves in Vienna. Her 3rd full-length-album „The Ground Below“ (2009) gained her another Amadeus-nomination, as well as massive airplay in Austria, and Germany. In 2011 Clara and her 3-piece-band (Heidi Dokalik, Ines Perschy, Max Hauer) released their recent work„Falling into place“, followed up by shows in Austria, Germany, France, Belgium, and Slovakia. Marc Riley (BBC 6 Music) has recently been quoted as saying ‘We do like her an awful lot’. The recordings for Clara’s 5th studio album are scheduled for April and May 2012.
