The Award-winning Viennese piano trio will perform a second concert in London following their special performance at the ACF London. This concert at Kings Place offers an exciting programme of works by Haydn, Beethoven and Dvořák.
The concert begins with a piece by Haydn which is thought to have been premiered in London in 1794. Beethoven’s famous ‘Ghost’ trio follows, and the programme culminates in one of the great romantic Slavic pieces of the chamber music repertoire, Dvořák’s beautiful and passionate F minor trio, completed in the early 1880s.
Programme:
Haydn Piano Trio in C, Hob.XV:21
Beethoven Opus 70 / 2 Ghost Trio
Dvořák Piano Trio in F minor, Op. 65 No. 3
