The Master and Fellows of Peterhouse College are this year resuming the Max Perutz Lectures in collaboration with the Austrian Cultural Forum London. The annual lecture honours Max Perutz (1914 –2002), a former Fellow of the College and will this year mark the 10th anniversary of his death and the 50th anniversary of his Nobel Prize. The lecture will be given by Anthony Crowther whose talk entitled „From envelopes to atoms: the remarkable progress of biological electron microscopy" will give an overview of the exciting developments in biological electron microscopy that have occurred during the last several decades.
