Open City is a festival devoted to exploring the power of documentary film and forms to inspire, provoke debate and open minds. The festival will be based in a live hub at University College London in which creative documentary can be seen, discussed and enjoyed by as wide an audience as possible.

Among this year’s films is Austrian filmmaker Nikolaus Geyrhalter’s Abendland, a cinematic poem about a continent at night.
