Launch Screening & Special Q&A event

The award-winning film Pianomania follows Stefan Knüpfer Steinway & Sons' Master Tuner in Vienna, as he works with some of the world's best-known concert pianists, including Pierre-Laurent Aimard, Lang Lang and Alfred Brendel.  Warm, and at times gently humorous, the film demonstrates how unsung hero Knüpfer is pivotal to realising the vision of each virtuoso and in achieving the perfect tone.

Pierre-Laurent Aimard, internationally renown pianist and artistic director of the Aldeburgh Festival and Robert Cibis, the director of Pianomania, discuss the relationship between the concert pianist and the piano tuner, and how the story was brought to the screen.  With Erica Worth, Editor of The Pianist Magazine. Tickets cost £12.50

Nationwide release from 20 August, visit www.more2screen.com for more information.
