Arno Geiger, born 1968 in Vorarlberg (Austria), is this year’s Ingeborg Bachmann Centre for Austrian Literature Writer-In-Residence and will give a special reading at the ACF London. Winner of the German Book Prize 2005 for his generational novel Es geht uns gut (We're doing fine), Arno Geiger has become an internationally acclaimed author for his poetical and sensitive treatment of relationships at the brink of break-up Alles ueber Sally (Everything about Sally), as well as of the difficult topic of mental illness Der alte Koenig in seinem Exil (The Old King in his Exil).
