This festival is London's first international film festival solely for student films, a platform for young filmmakers to showcase their work and to meet established industry professionals. The festival will include screenings, workshops, networking events and evening galas aimed at expanding creative opportunities and contacts for culturally diverse young talent. Three films from Austria will be screened: Outside In Enclave Yourself, by Katharina Kebler from the University of Applied Sciences, Salzburg, a short animated film which combines digitally generated 3D images and a mixture of live action and computer animation, Das Karten Spiel (The Card Game) by Klara Plainer, also from the University of Applied Sciences, Salzburg, about the deteriorating relationship and communication between a couple; and Chronos by Sebastian Mayr and Alexander Dirninger from the Filmakademie Vienna, a film in which time, until then the last resource which had not gone through the process of economisation, is turned into an industrial good by the Ministry of Quality of Life and Economical Efficiency and their CHRONOS programme.
