The Continuum Ensemble present a unique festival at London’s King’s Place this summer. It will feature a rich three-day programme of vivid miniature opera (‘zeitoper’), cabaret songs, and inventive chamber and orchestral music by Ernst Toch, Kurt Weill and other composers of this lost generation. To accompany this series, the ACF will screen four interwar films which exemplify the style and techniques developed at this time.
