A codebreaker genius, a revolutionary surveillance program and corruption across the board of NSA. The feature documentary A Good American by Austrian director Friedrich Moser is a captivating investigation of the failings of the intelligence-industrial complex in the US. The film, which screened at film festivals across the world, tells the story of Bill Binney, a former NSA analyst, and his program ThinThread. It will be screened as part of the Take One Action film festival in Edinburgh & Glasgow and later on at various venues in the country.
