Flatpack Festival will present a selection of short films including Don't Know What by Austrian filmmaker Thomas Renoldner. It will have its UK premiere in the Festival's Short Film Competition. The annual roundup of phonic-themed short films approaches the subject of audio and music in multifaceted ways.
Some are straight-up promos like the mind-warping Faceshopping by SOPHIE, while others such as Arr. for a Scene explore the world of foley, and Thomas Renoldner's Don't Know What is a sensory treat for both eyes and ears.
All of the films in this selection are eligible for the Optical Sound Short Film Award which will be awarded on Saturday evening.
