Wilhelm Roseneder lives and works in Vienna. He has shown extensively internationally and his works are in numerous private and public collections, including that of the City of Vienna and the Albertina. This exhibition will feature new sculptures from 2002-2010.
This exhibition features household everyday items with their own inherent meanings and histories. Through his treatment they are transformed and inscribed with new meaning and a new identity. The ironing board, drying rack and other objects have been collected from the street, from dumps or in garbage containers.
