To commemorate Yom Hashoah, this event will feature words, prayer and music to remember those who perished in the Shoah. The Nazi campaign against so-called “degenerate music” saw works by composers such as Haas, Klein, Weill, Krasa, Schoenberg and Hindemith denounced and suppressed. Much of this music is still unknown. This event will feature a performance piece by Peter Braithwaite and Nigel Foster with visual projections and art from James Symonds. There will be also choral music from the Shalom Youth Choir and speakers will include Dr Malcolm Miller and Rabbi Roni Tabick.
