Austrian mezzo-soprano Daniela Lehner launched her career winning a plethora of prizes and is now one of the latest artists to be promoted through the BBC’s valuable New Generation Artists scheme. She presents a programme of Viennese song, ranging from the classical poise of Mozart to the turbulent sound-world of Alexander Zemlinsky, via the intense and highly personal Lieder of the troubled Hugo Wolf.
