Music : New Artists Series

Anna Magdalena Kokits was born in Vienna in 1988, where she was given her first piano lessons by her mother at the age of four. She has been a student of Alejandro Geberovic for years and achieved numerous prizes at various international competitions in Austria and abroad. She also received a special prize from the Academy of Music in Prague for her outstanding interpretations of the works of Smetana. Since 2007 she has been performing together with Alexander Gebert, a cellist for the Altenberg Trio Vienna. The performance at the ACF will her London-debut.
