Four singer-songwriters have been invited to perform a short solo set each as well as an impromptu duet collaboration. The musicians include Jon Allen who has performed with artists such as Damien Rice, KT Tunstall and José Gonzalez. Recently, Jon Mark Knopfler and Emmylou Harris, which led to Knopfler’s offer to play guitar on one of Jon’s songs, Sarah. John Ellis is a musician and writer who has worked with John Squire (Stone Roses), Corinne Bailey Rae, Lily Allen, Cinematic Orchestra and currently Kirsty Almeida. Newcomer Alexandra Caro has been a feature artist on Austrian National Radio oe3 this summer, with her hotly anticipated debut album Diary to be released in October 2010 on Homebase records. Finally singer Julia Noa Fischer has been described recently as ‘the sensational surprise of all of last months’ concerts. Her solo performances captivate audiences and surpass expectations.
