Werner Güra is fast emerging as one of the most sought-after tenors of his generation, with a particular reputation for the Viennese classics. His partnership here with young pianist Christoph Berner will spotlight one of the less often visited avenues of Mozart’s output, namely the songs, in a programme which juxtaposes them with some of his most distinctive solo piano miniatures, before moving on to Schumann’s Heine Liederkreis.
