To celebrate the Austrian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the ACF London, together with Fotohof Salzburg and the Representation of the European Commission in the UK, presents a special photography exhibition at the 12 Star Gallery.
The
exhibition was originally produced by Fotohof Salzburg with the support
of the Austrian Federal Chancellery as a celebration of Austria's rich
heritage and diversity. Twenty photographers were commissioned to
photograph Austria. Their photos reveal a diversity of imagery and
themes − urban settings, landscapes, work, politics, the arts, and sport
− a country mirrored through contemporary photography.
The exhibition at 12 Star Gallery will feature a selection forty images by twenty artists including:
Seiichi Furuya, Katharina Gruzei, Heidi Harsieber, Kurt Kaindl, Werner Kaligofsky/Raad al Abbas, Leo Kandl, Paul Kranzler, Paul Albert Leitner, Simon Lehner, Christopher Mavrič, Stefanie Moshammer, Andrew Phelps, Rudolf Sagmeister, Jan Schiefermair, Nora Schoeller, Ekaterina Sevrouk, Katarina Šoškić, Rudolf Strobl, Clara Wildberger, Manfred Willmann.
We are delighted to be joined by artists Clara Wildberger, Kurt Kaindl, Paul Albert Leitner and Jan Schiefermeier at the private view on 3 July.
