This March, University College Opera, a student-led opera company based at University College London, returns with L’anima del filosofo. Dedicated to producing less-known works, UCOpera stages Haydn’s last opera, written in London and never fully performed during the composer’s lifetime. The piece retells the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, a story of love, death and the power of music.
