Join Austrian actress Lena Liedl together with Faith McCune presenting the brand-new play 'The Good Women', directed by Sophie Marsden. A funny, bold and romantic piece of theatre inspired by a true story about two extraordinary women.

Welcome to 1960s Zürich. While elsewhere hippies are celebrating free love, protesters take the streets for equality and against the Vietnam war and The Beatles and Janis Joplin are rising to fame, Swiss women still don't even have the vote. Bette - host of a popular TV cooking show who has settled for a life of predictable solitude and regional TV stardom - and Trudy - a housewife with an obsession for Bette's TV show and a mild alcohol problem (both of which she would strongly deny) - are about to change that. And question their life choices, their politics, their sexualities and what it means to be “a good woman” in the process.

After its successful run at VAULT Theatre Festival, the UK's leading showcase of live performance and artistic talent, “The Good Women” transfers to one of London's foremost Off-Westend stages, Greenwich Theatre.
