The internationally acclaimed soprano Birgit Beer grew up in Vienna and has performed at major opera houses around the world. Among her many acclaimed roles are Papagena of The Magic Flute, Musette of La Bohème and Countess Gabriele of Wiener Blut. In a special evening to pay tribute to the 100-year-old Eric Sanders, she will perform Viennese songs and pieces from famous operettas such as Wien, Wien nur du allein and Hör ich Cymbalklänge.
