A night of performance and poetry as three of Austria’s most remarkable contemporary poets come to London.

Join Helene Proißl, Gudrun Schmidinger and Thomas Ballhausen presenting brand new collaborations, exclusively made for the evening, with British compatriots.
A celebration of cross-genre and cross-lingual literature of the most original kind, exploring what is possible in live literature in the 21st century.

With new poetry and performance collaborations on the night by

• Gudrun Schmidinger and Xelis de Toro
• Thomas Ballhausen and David Spittle
• Helene Proißl and Calliope Michail

In addition, new short collaborations from other European poets in pairs make up the remainder of the event, with:

This is the seventh Austrian celebration at the European Poetry festival. This event is not to be missed - a celebration of both literary and experimental poetry, live, representing one of Europe’s most remarkable poetry scenes.
