session #1 in G major für Alix Eynaudi

A concert by Han-Gyeol Lie and cocktails by Alex Franz Zehetbauer, with the participation of Alix Eynaudi and Raimundas Malasauskas.

With .akut – Association for Aesthetics and Applied Cultural Theory, pianist Han-Gyeol Lie curates an evening in G major for Alix Eynaudi, continuing her Schubertian series about the topic of keys. All the performed pieces are connected by the same key, the neutral and simple tone of G, “growing out” from the Coda of Schuberts late Sonata like a soft-focused piano-playlist. From Couperin to Cage or Beethoven to Birkin to Schoenberg – as a long tail of music the evening follows the shape of Alix, looped by cocktails sticked with poems, while the lights change from minor to major.

This performance will take place as part of the two-day symposium Choreographic Devices at the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London.
