The seventh edition of Illuminations continues with new pieces of literary art and performance responding to the life and work of Friederike Mayröcker. One of the most important living European poets, her trailblazing, deeply complex poetry spans methodological explorations of visual, concrete, postmodern and phenomenological poetry. She is a recipient of the most important prize for German language literature, the Georg Büchner prize, and yet it is necessary to Raise awareness of her work in the UK.
