Austrian drummer Vladimir Kostadinovic will join the Joe Locke Quartet for a live show at Pizza Express Jazz Club in Soho. Joe Locke is widely considered to be one of the major voices of the vibraphone. Long known to be a soloist capable of stunning physical power and broad emotional range, he emerged in the new millenium as the composer, bandleader and conceptualist that he is considered today. Also featuring Jaka Kopa (sax), Ameen Saleem (bass) and Vladimir Kostadinovic (drums), 'Amaranth' unites four musicians with a shared musical mission, namely to find the beauty not only in their common ground, but in the differences between them which have resulted from each member's personal and cultural experiences.
