Join the Austrian Trio Artio coming to Edinburgh for a concert at the Institut Français Écosse, presented by Live Music Now. They will perform a special programme featuring Beethoven and Mendelssohn.

Trio Artio was founded in Vienna by the Austrian violinist Judith Fliedl, the German cellist Christine Roider and the Austrian pianist Johanna Estermann. After successful international performances, the decision was taken to embark on a musical future together in the form of a piano trio. After four years of cooperation, they have proven what constitutes the essence of the ensemble – the shared fun on stage, the intensive communication with the audience and last but not least the urge to make music in an honest way with each other.
