Join us for this virtual jazz collaboration between the newly formed Austrian Trio KRY and London based Percussion Duo Angela Wai Nok Hui and James Larter.

Each band will present a short set of their own repertoire, but also an exclusive rework of one of each others songs from a new musical perspective.

In the first part of the video, you can experience Angela Wai Nok Hui & James Larter, interpreting their counterpart’s piece “Kry2” to percussion, as well as two of their favourite poems into music, exploring unusual sounds on an array of percussion instruments.

In the second half, explore KRY remixing an experimental James Larter composition, followed by showcasing their song “Freiheit#2”, an original piece by the Austrian trio.

"Jazzexchange" is a series of concerts, initiated by the ACF London and curated by the two Austrian born and London based musicians Aram Zarikian and Guido Spannocchi. The projects aims to connect cutting edge bands from Austria and link them up with the UK scene - even in times of travel bans and the pandemic.
